A Blend of Bitaco® Black Tea with Cacao husk and nibs. The cacao comes from local cooperatives and small producers from the Tumaco region of Colombia, who produce a varietal of the finest and most aromatic cocoas in the world. It is a perfectly matched blend of Bitaco® Black Tea and cocoa, providing consumers a unique flavor experience — sweet notes from our tea balanced with the bitter taste of cocoa. This prized tea took top prize in the flavored hot tea competition at Global Tea Championships 2017.
Bitaco produces fantastic specialty teas, grown above 6000 feet, atop the Andes mountains. Their high tech tea factory produces both straight black and green teas as well as blends of tea with South American grown fruit, cacao, and coffee.
Colombia black tea blended with cacao nibs and husks from Tumaco to create a rich, chocolatey tea that represents the flavors of Colombia.
